Contemporary/Lyrical dance fuses ballet technique with jazz technique and offers students the opportunity to express themselves emotionally. Each week we will play with different intentions and story lines. Come explore how you can express yourself through movement.
Whole Body Stretch
Whole Body Stretch is a gentler introduction to the world of yoga-based movement. In this class we will focus on anatomical alignment and the most effective ways to use your body in movement. This class is perfect for yogis, dancers, or athletes looking for a little unwinding and a focus on flexibility. You will leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on the rest of your day.
Contemporary/Jazz is a flexible format class. This means one week we'll learn a sultry routine, infused with burlesque technique and sass. The next week we may explore contemporary styles, with the intention being to express emotion through movement, connecting mind, body and spirit. All levels are welcomed in this judgement free space! The goal of this class is for you to feel empowered & energized through the art of dance & movement.
Perfect For: Everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on.
How It Works: We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

Power Stretch & Strength
Power Stretch & Strength is a yoga-based class, perfect for dancers, yogis, and athletes! This class emphasizes core strength, balance, and endurance with a series of strengthening postures designed with functional movement in mind. At the end of each class we use the warmth we've created to help gently work deeper into key stretches that increase your flexibility in your legs, hips, and spine. You will leave feeling sweaty and open in your body.
Authentic Movement is a self-informed journey to your center. The structure of the practice is to have movers and witness. The movers move in the space with their eyes closed listening and allowing their movement to come from within. The witness’s job is to hold space for the mover, observing them with non-judgment. This practice helps cultivate an inner witness, illuminating where we often hold our attention and what our internal dialogue is actually saying. This is a 2-hour, donation based class that happens on the First Friday of every month.
